These ingredients provide the right balance of moisture retention and drainage, while also supplying sufficient nutrients. Avoid using heavy soils that can cause water to accumulate or compact the roots. Also, never use garden soil for indoor plants as it is not sterile and can harbor pests and diseases.
Light Requirements

Or my favorite way is in water, cut a stem with 2-4 leaves and remove the bottom 2 leaves. Place in a propagation station and once roots form and become around an inch long you can plant in a pot. Although I have a Philodendron I have just placed multiple cuttings in a unique vase and just let it grow in water continuously!
